About Us
Our Team
At The Star Care Group you will find motivated and enthusiastic staff from diverse backgrounds who have previous experience in the disability sector. Our team has a deep understanding of the disability care sector and ways in which they can support clients to be independent and reach their goals. We are passionate about person centered care, reflecting the individuality of our participants. In fact, our staff treat each other and participants, like a part of our extended family, with care, respect and understanding.
Our team provides ethical care to our wide range of participants, while ensuring we always adhere to sector guidelines. The Star Care Group constantly advocates for participant’s independence, and together our team works to help integrate people living with disabilities into the community.
In our team we have Plan Managers, Support Coordinators, Psychosocial Recovery Coaches, Support Workers and Carers, Nurses and Mentors. We require all our staff members to attend regular trainings and maintain necessary competencies to remain a part of our team

At Star Care Group, we have certified bookkeepers and accountants. Our qualified and experienced plan managers will help you to get the most out of your NDIS plan. The team will support you to keep a record of your NDIS funding. We have a sound understanding of disability and NDIS and are aware that each participant has their own needs and requirements.

Our team has Social workers registered with AASW & welfare workers with ACWA supporting NDIS participants to build their capacity under Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Support Coordination. Our team will help you to understand your NDIS plan and implement the funded supports. We will connect you to the mainstream, community, and other services. The Star Care Group’s Support coordinators will assist you to get the most out of your NDIS plan and will also help you to understand the different categories of the plan.

Psychosocial Recovery Coach
At The Star Care Group, our qualified and experienced recovery coaches, support participants with their complex needs. Our Recovery Coaches collaboratively with participants, their families, Carers, and other service providers to design, plan and implement the recovery plans, and assist with the coordination of NDIS and other supports. Participants will have the option of selecting a recovery coach with lived experience or a recovery coach with learned knowledge of psychosocial disability and mental health. The service is designed for NDIS participants.

Psychosocial Recovery Coach
We have a huge team of support workers who are experienced in supporting people with different conditions. We have support workers who are qualified to provide Complex high intensity Supports and provide core support to NDIS participants with Domestic activities, Personal care, Community Participation, Capacity Building and help NDIS participants to develop various life skills. All Our support workers have NDIS clearance, police clearance, Working with Children Check and other relevant Documentation.

Mentors
We have Registered, enrolled nurses and Clinical Nurses with appropriate AHPRA registration. Our nurses can help you with a high level of medical care. If you require day-to-day special nursing needs, we can organize nurses for you who are specialized in health care. The nursing team offers a number of services according to the needs and requirements of the participants. The services are provided under direct and indirect supervision of Registered and Clinical nurse.

Mentors
A mentor is a person who provides help, guidance, and advice to people which aids in the personal growth of the individuals. A mentor is also known as a counselor. At The Star Care Group, we provide counseling sessions to the NDIS participants and encourage them to explore their feelings, and thoughts. Our counselors work closely to support well-being and mental health by addressing the challenges and implementing strategies to overcome the problems. Our mentors are knowledgeable, flexible, and willing to give feedback.
