High Intensity Support/Complex Care

  High Intensity daily personal activities are specialized support services for participants with more complex needs. These supports are provided by specialized, more skilled and experienced support workers. These supports may require workers to have necessary trainings before they can deliver the supports. The Star Care can help with following but is not limited to: 

• Complex Bowel Care
• Enteral Feeding and Management, including PEG Feeding
•  Severe Dysphagia Management
• Tracheostomy Care
• Urinary Catheter Care
• Pressure Care 
• Wound Care
• Managing Diabetes
• Respirator Support
• Day to Day management of medications

At Star Care we have qualified and experienced staff who are trained to deliver these services. They are required to undergo special trainings to meet standards and are competent in delivering these supports. They will follow the care plan designed by health professionals and use their expertise to delivery high quality of supports to participants.
