NDIS Plan Manager / Graduate Accountant

 

We are looking for a Plan Manager/Bookkeeper to work on a permanent part-time or full-time basis. This job role can suit somebody who has recently graduated or a university student who has experience working with Xero and Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, driven, and possess strong coordination skills. As Plan Manager/Bookkeeper at The Star Care Group, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our team and managing key responsibilities, including:

  • Raising invoices in accordance with agreed terms.
  • Resolve any issues identified with payments including chasing payment for overdue invoices.
  • Allocation of payments received, keeping assets record.
  • Approving timesheets and completing the Fortnightly Pay run.
  • End-to-end accounts payables, receivables, and related duties
  • Accounting data entry, Inter-company reconciliation
  • Maintaining Accounts Receivable and chasing payments.
  • Processing client's invoices as per NDIS guidelines.
  • Setting up new client’s services, creating bookings on the portal, following up with clients regarding their new NDIS plan.
  • Replying to any new inquiry received through email or phone call and reporting to your supervisor.
  • Replying to emails and answering phone calls for plan management inquiries.
  • Preparing Service agreements and send them to client via adobe.
  • Assistance with monthly journals and GL reconciliations
  • Renewing and maintaining records of registration and insurance of company motor vehicles.
  • Preparing and Lodging Business Activity Statements.
  • Preparing the Income tax return.
  • Entering employees' details into the accounting software.
  • Processing Superannuation payments and create super accounts for new workers.
  • Reconciliation for rental payments received for the properties. 
  • Reconciliation fleet card payments.
  • Paying company Bills and invoices.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to other members of the team, including opportunities to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Providing participants with information on their current plans, budgets, and invoices

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Cert 4 in Bookkeeping or higher Relevant qualifications.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience with NDIS invoicing.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience with Xero or MYOB.
  • High degrees of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proactive approaches to problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • High level attention to detail
  • Providing participants with information on their current plans, budgets and invoices
  • A proactive and can-do attitude.
